KOENIG Suddenly Charles J. Koenig COD, of age 80 heart years failure died while August 3, a resident of Camden NJ. Mr Koenig resided in Mt. Laurel since 1984, prior to which time he lived in the Mayfair Section of Phila for 36 years. Mr Koenig was a former employee of the Philadelphia Gas Works for 38 years from which he retired in 1985.

He started as a Serviceman and retired as Supervisor of the training section. During his tenure with PGW he was a member of the PGW Speakers Bureau; Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Gas Utilization Council and was the PGW Representative on the maior TV stations in the city of Phila. presenting safety measures in the use of gas heating equipment. Mr. Koenig also worked at the New York Ship Yard in Camden prior to the war and served in the US Army European Theater with the 4th Armored Division during WWII.

He graduated with the Class on 1939 from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden and attended Temple, University-School of Heating Conditioning. Mr Koenig was a resident of Holiday Village in Mt. Laurel and served as President and Vice President of the Holiday Village Condo Association along with writing for the community newspaper. He was a member of the Philadelphia Gas Works Retirees Association and the Quarter Century Club. He also was a member of the Rhawnhurst-Castor American Legion Post of Columbus Council and a 4th degree Bishop B.J Eustace General Assembly.

Mr. Koenig is survived by his wife, Anna J. Prickitt Koenig; his daughter, Diane K. Manwaring and son-in-law, S. Edward Manwaring, of Chestnut Hill in Phila; his son, George J.

COURIER-POST South Jersey's Newspaper ROUNDUP High school teacher dies in N.Y. boating accident VOORHEES Carol Moyer, 53, a teacher at Eastern Regional High School here, died in a boating accident Saturday morning in Wells, N.Y., in the Adirondack mountains.

She was in a canoe that was struck by a powerboat operated by a friend. Her daughter also was in the powerboat. The accident happened about 11:45 a.m. in Algonquin Lake, an artificial lake on the Sacandaga River, said Richard Jaquash, a dispatcher with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department. He said another occupant, who was not identified, was hospitalized.

No other information was available. Moyer, a South Jersey resident, has a summer home in the Adirondacks. Her parents live in Somerdale. Vincent E. Heslin, 75, of.

Washington Township, died Thursday at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Washington Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Heslin was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served in the battles of Pearl Harbor, Midway, Saipan, Coral Sea and Okinawa. He was a New York state trooper from 1958 to 1966 and was promoted to motorcycle patrolman in 1959.

He was injured in the line of duty in 1962, forcing him to transfer to the investigation bureau of the New York state police, from which he retired. His most recent job was at the Sears Hardware Store of Glassboro, from 1994 to 1997. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Mater Christi No. 3352 and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church of Glassboro. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie "Dolly" (nee Zanone); a daughter, Barbara A.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee McKenna); three sons, Joseph B. and Edward both of Philadelphia, and Thomas C. of Washington Township; two ters, Marion Ann Arena of Smithville and Geraldine Marinello of Cherry Hill; two brothers, Richard of Maple Shade and Alfred of Bedford, and 13 grandchildren.

A service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Washington Township. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Egizi Funeral Home, Washington Township.

Beverly A. Sigel, 68, of Sicklerville, died Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden. Born in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Sigel (nee Jerrell) lived in Maple Shade before moving to Sicklerville 13 years ago. She was a beautician at the beauty salon in JC Penney, Audubon, retiring in August 1995.

She is survived by her husband, William E. two daughters, Shirley Lay-Martino of Cherry Hill and Karen Yannetti of Whitmire, S.C.; four sons, William E. II of Pennsauken, Richard J. of Hammonton, Steven Lay of Texas and Keith Lay of New Mexico; a sister, Barbara R. Becker of Roanoke, seven' grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home, Route 73 and Evesham Road, Marlton, where a service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will bel in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lourdes Associated Foundation, 1600 Haddon Camden 08103..
